It was luxurious and historic. I literally felt like a Queen as I descended the stairs from our room to see a black and white photo of Queen Elizabeth II on the same steps. Also, the attention to detail, with the turndown service and the replenishment of bottled water every day was so nice and made us feel so well taken care of! Finally, the grounds were gorgeous. We loved taking in the sunset one evening with a cocktail from the outdoor bar, while our kids ran and played in the expansive lawn.

Every aspect of the Inn, setting, decor, amenities, service, and food, was first rate, befitting the property's history and reputation. We felt very welcome and cared for. The Williamsburg Inn is much better in every respect than it used to be despite the loss of the Regency Dining room as a daily venue for meals. Times change and the Inn has with them but the core values of elegance, comfort, and service remain.

The location was so convenient. The hotel is truly a five star hotel. Beautiful accommodations. Staff goes above and beyond. Definitely will stay here in the future.

Very nice staff. Felt at home - gym is pretty good too which is so nice as most hotel chimps out on the gym.
